The easy money is in convincing unsuspecting people to put up tens, hundreds, or even thousands of dollars, before they realize they've been cheated.

The cleverest schemes might even return a few dollars to you at the outset, to build your confidence and entice you to "invest" even more in the scheme. Fake testimonials of satisfied customers give you no way to check out their stories, and are worthless.

Can data entry work from home be a legitimate opportunity? Sure, if you know someone who's starting a small business, and who needs help with inputting orders, etc. The key is to know the people, and to see for yourself that the opportunity is legitimate. You should not have to pay a penny to get started with this work, either.
